About Craigmore
Craigmore is a large northern Adelaide Suburb, located just east of Elizabeth and south of Gawler in the City of Playford. European settlement of the area commenced in 1855 with the construction of Blair Farm situated just north of what is now Uley Road . Modern development of Craigmore started during the late 1960s. In 1975, the south eastern sector of Craigmore was built as a private development named Blair Park, with other private developments continuting throughout the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's, with urban infill still incomplete. Totalling 3.75 kilometres parallel with Adams Road between Kakuna Crescent and Arthur Street, Craigmore is one of Adelaide's longest suburbs by distance. In 2006 Craigmore was show to have a population of 10,319.
