About Banksia Park
Banksia Park was originally named Steventon after the original owner of the land John Stevens, the name was changed later on to Banksia Park named after the abundance of banksia trees located in the area. In 2001 the population of Banksia Park was 3,455 with 48% aged between 25–54 years. The population dropped to 3,398 by 2006 and then down to 3,238 by 2011. (click for more info)
